Join us for Northumbria University’s annual IP Showcase Event.

The IP Commercialisation team (of Research and Innovation Services) is delighted to launch our annual showcase event to share stories of great innovations happening at Northumbria University. The event is for university staff to learn about how they can progress their research towards commercial adoption through academic spinout or social enterprise creation, licensing and joint-venture opportunities. 

Our Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Exchange, Professor Louise Bracken will be making the opening speech of the event. During the event, there will be academics describing their technology development journeys and talking about their spinout venture ambitions. 

There will also be external speakers to talk about the importance of intellectual property in research, as well as discussing funding and support for innovators in the North-East knowledge economy. Furthermore, there will be a chance for networking and academics are welcome to invite any external contacts.

We will provide a 1-slide template for online promotion purpose and physical space available for product demo purpose.
