Commercialising Social Science Innovations for Impact In-Person / Online

The IP Commercialisation team (of Research and Innovation Services) is excited to announce a researchers networking event for sharing new updates on ‘Notable Initiatives and Ambitions for Knowledge Exchange in Social Sciences’ and ‘Approaches of enabling Commercialisation of Social Science Innovations’ at Northumbria University.

The event will provide an opportunity to network among ‘academics, researchers, PGRs and technicians’ from the non-STEM areas (e.g. Arts, Designs, Humanities, Business, Law) while listening to the ‘journey experience and case examples’ of few non-STEM innovators who had been involved in both ‘monetisable and non-monetisable’ IP Commercialisation project activities.

Academics/researchers from STEM background are also welcome to this event, as many of the ‘non-STEM originated research ideas’ have achieved successful commercial adoption/exploitation pathways through the application of IT-enabled services and software/app tools.
